Price and Availability of the Toshiba Qosmio 3D Laptop

The latest buzz among laptop freaks is the arrival of Toshiba Qosmio 3D laptops in the mobile market. So far, we have viewed stuff on our laptops only in 2D. 3D viewing on a laptop should make for a very interesting experience indeed. Here, we bring you details on the price and availability of two of Toshiba’s Qosmio 3D laptops.

An Important Point to Note
The 3D feature, while great for playing certain 3D games or watching 3D movies on your laptop, can tend to create headaches, giddiness and such. So make sure you can actually tolerate the 3D experience before you use it for too long.
  • The Qosmio F755 3D Laptop
The Qosmio F755 is a unique glass-free 3D laptop. It does not need special glasses for users to view the 3D content on screen. In fact, Toshiba promotes this product as the world’s first glass-free 3D laptop.
It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor and uses the NVIDIA GeForce 540M graphics card for a fantastic experience. The manufacturer makes use of a 15.6” diagonal full HD TruBrite display with active lens. This gives the user a choice of 2D and 3D viewing. The Qosmio F755 enables HD video and Blu-ray playback as well.
This 3D laptop is available from mid-August at a price of $1,700.

  • Toshiba Qosmio F750
Again a glass-free 3D laptop, the Toshiba Qosmio F750-10Q contains all of the above laptop’s features, including a built-in Blu-ray XL drive, which can burn 128GB disks. The built-in webcam tracks the user’s eye movements, thereby adjusting the 3D effect to match that particular eye position. It can also convert 2D DVD content into 3D in real time.
Additionally, the Qosmio F750 includes Harman Kardon speakers, HDMI port, support for USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0.
This 3D laptop will be available this month in the UK, starting at £1,299. There is yet nothing yet about its pricing and availability in other countries.
  • Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV78
The Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV78 is a stereoscopic 3D laptop with a powerful CPU and great graphics. Its features include powerful quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 graphics card, dual hard drive with a combined capacity of 1.25TB, Blu-ray player and all of the above laptops’ features as well.
The Toshiba Qosmio X775 3D laptop is already available in the market at a rather steep price of $1,899.
